As the BIG DAY approaches and I put on the final touches, the last details that make it all real, I am more aware of the journey we are about to embark on.
I am so excited to be marrying my best friend. It sounds cliche, but Lonn is the man that I can talk to about everything, cry on his shoulder, and laugh about the silliest little nothings. He knows my strenghts and weaknesses and knows when to push me and when to ease up. He makes me a better woman every day without even trying.
This blog isn't long enough for the praises I could sing for this man that I have come to know so completely and love so unconditionally. I have so much to learn about being a woman and a wife, but knowing that I have someone to stand by me through it all makes it not only bearable, but downright exciting and fun. I hope he knows that I will always stand beside him.
The picture above is the spot where we will stand beside each other, before God, family and friends and say our vows. I cannot wait for our BIG DAY! I am so grateful for the love and support of Lonn and to have a big, wonderful family around us as we begin our lives together. Three weeks and four days to go!!!!

My project last week was my new aisle runner. I know... I made one before, but it turned out too small so I decided I'd use that one for my cake table and make a larger aisle runner! The runner is 50 feet long and about 3 feet wide, so this L is much bigger, almost two feet high.
I first placed the L under the aisle runner and positioned everything where I wanted it.
Next, I traced over the design with my markers.
After it was traced, I filled in with black and glitter...and TAH DAH!!!!! Yes, I am obsessed with glitter. i am aware of this.
The weekend before last Lonn's mom came in to visit us and she brought the pillows she's been working on for the wedding. These pillows will sit atop black slipcovered cushions that Lea is also making. They are so CUTE! THANK YOU LEA!!!
Have you ever seen the "People of Walmart" emails?? Well, that's what came to mind when I mosied into Walmart and loaded up my basket full of these little beauties. There is a swimming pool at the venue, (although you can't swim in it!!) so I thought the perfect little addition would be some added color in the pool!

Well its pretty much been glitter mania around here! I bought a bottle of glitter and quite honestly haven't been able to control myself. STEP AWAY FROM THE GLITTER Dyna!
This is me finishing up our cake topper...
And this is Lonn kindly being Vanna....he's such a trooper! But the topper turned out great!
