Well, the DIY wedding couple has been busy busy! Lonn put together a large wooden sign that I then painted our logo L on. We made it to put on the street at the venue, as it is a tiny street and hard to see...hopefully this will help. Look for the big black sign with the big pink L.

Here I am hard at work on our aisle runner. I decided the other one wasn't big enough...go figure.
My sister Deb donated her old plastic Radio flyer and we glammed it up with some tulle and rhinestone after Lonn painted it black!
I am so excited to have my food processor! Thanks to Jon and Lyndsey, I opened it immediately and threw an entire onion in...it was baby food in ten seconds. I'm in LOVE.

My project last week was my new aisle runner. I know... I made one before, but it turned out too small so I decided I'd use that one for my cake table and make a larger aisle runner! The runner is 50 feet long and about 3 feet wide, so this L is much bigger, almost two feet high.

I first placed the L under the aisle runner and positioned everything where I wanted it.

Next, I traced over the design with my markers.
After it was traced, I filled in with black and glitter...and TAH DAH!!!!! Yes, I am obsessed with glitter. i am aware of this.

UndertheTableandDreaming The weekend before last Lonn's mom came in to visit us and she brought the pillows she's been working on for the wedding. These pillows will sit atop black slipcovered cushions that Lea is also making. They are so CUTE! THANK YOU LEA!!!

Have you ever seen the "People of Walmart" emails?? Well, that's what came to mind when I mosied into Walmart and loaded up my basket full of these little beauties. There is a swimming pool at the venue, (although you can't swim in it!!) so I thought the perfect little addition would be some added color in the pool!
